About me...

Thank you for visiting my portfolio! It is a work in progress, but I hope you find what you are looking for. Please check out my usability and design work, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. To get you started, here is a bit of background about me...

I received my B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Colorado State University, and then spent four years with Canto Software, in San Francisco and New York City. While at Canto I did workflow consulting, plug in development, training and managed the U.S. technical services team. Working closely with customers gave me insight into the frustrations of users faced with complex software systems, which inspired me to learn about improving usability through the study of HCI methods. I am currently a full-time student in the Human-Computer Interaction Masters program at Carnegie Mellon (graduating August 2006). My goal is to work with a creative, interdisciplinary team to develop products that provide a simple and pleasant user experience.
